Swashbuckler
2D sword-fighting arcade challenge.
Kill enemies to gain points; take out tougher enemies and execute skillful kills for bonus points.
Controls:
- WASD: move
- Cursor: control reticle/facing-direction
- Left Mouse-Button: slash
- Middle Mouse-Button: lunging-stab
- Right Mouse-Button: deflect
- Space: kick
- R: reset
Inspired by Hotline Miami; I wanted to play a game with a similar movement/control system, just with more of a melee focus, so I made this. It is a solo project, made in GameMaker Studio 2, using GML scripting.
I created the designs, code, and assets.
